Colorado Addictions Consulting (CAConsulting) was created to provide an all inclusive and welcoming environment for those convicted or arrested for a DUI. We offer a unique approach to blending individual circumstances with court mandated rulings for DUI offenses. Our staff incorporates thorough assessment tools, multiple factors surrounding the event, personal history and present needs to develop an effective course of treatment for each individual. We strive to create a non-judgmental, culturally diverse and accepting atmosphere.
We are a strength based, client centered and goal-oriented program for all DUI offenses. We deliver the latest evidence-based practices and in particular, the most current (IDEP) Impaired Driver's Education Program and Therapy Curriculum approved by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health. By combining proven addiction therapy treatment methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, 12 step integration, motivational interviewing, addiction counseling and positive peer culture we are able to create personalized treatment plans that are based on each client's personal needs.
The Colorado Impaired Driver Program (IDEP) curriculum we use is accepted statewide by probation and the courts for all DWAI and DUI, BUI and FUI offenses. The training sessions includes a review of behavior change theory, content review and group facilitation practice.
